Research-Clean Cooking- Analyst

The company is working on turn-key projects and is looking for self-motivated and driven individuals who are willing to be a part of the organization’s growth path. Individuals should be responsible for their tasks and be accustomed to working in similar roles. Demonstrable experience in handling projects in a leadership position would be preferred. The individual would be working from Office based in South Delhi, India. This role is suitable for candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds including those with research, consulting, think-tank, and corporate experience.

Primary Duties or Responsibilities

Research Inputs and Report Writing

Desk-based research on the developments in the sector to create a credible repository
Develop the research inputs for the Ongoing programmes and Projects
Plan and Conduct primary research w.r.t One to One Consultations or Multi-Stakeholder consultations. Consolidate the inputs in the form of Short Reports
Developing credible Knowledge resources in the form of Short/Long Reports, Case- Studies, and Blogs to be published and shared with Stakeholders widely
To write policy briefs for selective audiences and research papers suitable for publication in high-quality academic journals.
Development of agenda/notes for various activities including meetings/capacity building programs/workshops, conferences, preparing minutes, and dissemination.
Provide Qualitative Research Input for Business Proposals

Plan & Co-Ordinate Research Projects

Develop Plans and frameworks for Research Projects
Identify and engage with stakeholders to carry out in-depth research with relevant literature reviews, and research methodologies. This would include but not be limited to the development of Concept Notes, Proposals, and Framework for Stakeholder Input.
Work on research requests from senior researchers, discuss research needs, and prepare responses that synthesize and analyze information

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 2 – 8 years of experience in the field of research, policy/industry engagement
Background in development studies or related fields would be important
Background in energy technology or related field would be important
Experience in conducting research and analyzing data (Mixed methods) essential
Strong capability to research, write, communicate, facilitate and present cogently to all levels with government, international agencies, industries, clients, and internal staff and management
Significant experience working in international development settings with partners from multiple countries almost essential
Authoring original work for academic journal papers, conference papers or technical reports would be useful but not essential

Required Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to write project reports and make presentations to industrial and academic research groups
Ability to manage own workload essential
