Tech4Good PitchFest 2021
The current pandemic has impacted business and altered business trends and processes completely. The current market restrictions, manufacturing breaks, quarantine measures and splintered market supply chains along with trade disruptions have exposed most of the economic sectors to a difficult situation. However, some sectors have appeared to have revitalized with increased growth in response to the pandemic and gained a new focus.
To give a needed thrust to the innovative solutions in these sectors, GIZ in association with Finovista in partnership with T-Hub is organizing a virtual Pitching Session for Start-ups in areas of Tech for Good, Low Carbon Growth Technologies, Applications of AI. This pitching session is supported under the “Programme for Modernisation and Innovation Promotion in MSMEs in India (MSME INNO)” project jointly implemented by Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MoMSME); Government of India & Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This project aims to improve the local innovation ecosystem through fostering cooperation between different stakeholders and strengthening the innovation management capacity and sustainability of MSMEs in India
The pitchfest is inviting applications from Innovative Indian Start-ups/Spinoffs, with disruptive tech solutions to help business/es bolster their growth story post pandemic and emerge as fundamentally stronger in this new business scenario. The platform would give an opportunity to connect with the Investors i.e Corporate partners, Angel Investors and Micro-ventures & Business Leaders, exploring investment, strategic business, and technical collaborations and assist in scale up of your business.
Applications now open for startups building technology for good in the following sectors:
- Fintech/ Financial Inclusion
- Deeptech – AI, ML, IOT, Blockchain, 5G
- Healthcare and Medtech
- Clean Energy
Pitching sessions are suitable for
- Early stage: Raising USD 100k – 500k
- Seed to Pre-Series A: Raising USD 500k – 2 million
- Series A and Beyond: Raising USD 2 – 5 million
Shortlisted start-ups will also get a chance to get their profiles featured in specially compiled report. This report would be shared in a closed network of Investors, Mentors and Incubation Centres and would aid the start-ups in gaining visibility and further facilitation of investment / business.
