CFP Creation of Common Research and Technology Development Hubs

Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India operates a programme aimed at setting up of Common Research and Technology Development Hubs (CRTDHs) to encourage research and technology development activities by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Partial financial support would be provided as grant-in-aid for procuring R&D equipment and accessories and setting up of pilot plant facilities for prototype development to facilitate MSMEs to undertake R&D and technology development for new/improved products and processes including testing and analysis.

Proposals are invited from National laboratories, Public funded bodies or Institutions having a distinct legal entity for setting up of CRTDHs in the following five sectors:

  • Electronics/Renewable Energy
  • Affordable Health
  • Environmental Interventions
  • Low-Cost Machining
  • New Materials / Chemical Process
